St. Joseph's House of Hospitality Blue Grass Festival
Due to the slow rollout of the vaccine and trying to keep our guests, clients and staff safe, we are making the Bluegrass Festival Virtual.
The Festival will take place on Friday, April 30,2021 and will be streamed from Synod Hall.

Funds raised support the St. Joseph House of Hospitality
Catholic Charities offers practical assistance to those who are homeless or at-risk of losing their homes. Founded in 1937, St. Joseph House of Hospitality is the only year-round men's residential program of its kind in Southwestern Pennsylvania. To be eligible, candidates must be homeless or at risk of homelessness, must have a limited income, and be fifty years of age or older. Private, furnished rooms are available to men 50 years or older with limited income who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Additional services provided to the residents include:
- Comprehensive case management, including connections to medical and psychiatric care, drug and alcohol treatment, veterans assistance, housing services and job-seeking help
- Three daily meals in a full-service dining room
- Linen services
- Access to the free, in-house clothing room
- In-site support groups
- Recreational activities
